The Armenian Relief and Development Association (ARDA) was established in 1970 and is a non-denominational Christian humanitarian organization based in Pasadena, California, with offices in Yerevan and Gyumri, Armenia. The Armenian Relief and Development Association ministers to the needs of the most vulnerable and socially deprived children, elderly, and families who lack support structures to sustain their basic human and spiritual needs.

Through ARDA many Medical missions have been accomplished in Armenia, such us: Plastic surgeries, Eye project, Family Medicine etc.

Programs we cooperate with hospital are: Plastic Reconstructive surgeries, Chiropractics, Eye program, Vascular program, Gynecology , screening programs etc.

1st program with hospital was done through  ARDA  in 2011 in cooperation with ‘Plasticos Foundation’.

 

2nd ARDA Plastic surgery in cooperation with CMC Vellore, prof. Dr. Elvino Barreto was done  in 2013.

Chiropractic mission at’ St. Gregpor Lusavorich hospital’ and in Ararat region

‘Maple leafs’  Armenian -Canadian clinic, in Armenia. Several missions were done in this clinic, such as: Cardiology, Physiotherapy, patients screenings etc.

Medical Director , Dr. Vardges Avagyan (Neurourologist), worked and studied in UK, Canada. We have been doing several missions there, such as: Cardiology, Family Medicine and kinesiotherapy. We have been doing patients screenings and follow ups  there.

Experienced in Christian Psychology.

Our psychologist–  is a Member of the Canadian Psychological Association. She is a Canadian Armenian who was raised and educated in Canada. She moved to Armenia to bring her small contribution in the process of rebuilding this newly independent nation. She has experience in working with individual clients and groups with various psychological issues, and teaching on subjects related to psychology and spirituality. She has a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from McGill University and recently finished her Doctorate in Christian Counseling. We are glad to have her on our team and look forward to serving our ever-increasing community with even more effectiveness.
